Our client, a leading innovator in the electronics industry, seeks a Contract Engineering Associate Sr. to join their growing team! As a Contract Engineering Associate Sr., you'll play a vital role in the validation process, ensuring new technology functions flawlessly. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem-solver with a passion for hardware and strong scripting skills.

 

Job Title: Contract Engineering Associate Sr

Location: San Jose, CA

Pay Range: $ 62-67/hr

What's the Job?

• Own the functional validation process for new silicon chips.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to identify and resolve issues.
• Leverage scripting languages like Python and C/C++ to automate testing and streamline workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure efficient and thorough validation.
• Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices.

What's Needed?

• 5-15 years of experience in post-silicon validation and bring-up.
• Proven track record of conducting functional validation using firmware and C tests.
• Experience with industry-standard IOs like PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, JTAG, SPI, and memory interfaces.
• Proficiency in developing tools using Python on Linux/Windows systems.
• A Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
