Summary: 

Assists surgeon during operative procedures, Cesarean Sections and other procedures.  Ensures operative suite is adequately prepared for procedure.  Monitors PAR levels of all surgical instruments and supplies.  Cleans and prepares for sterilization all surgical instruments. Basic PC skills.  Able to work on a smoke free campus.  Able to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.

Required Education: 

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Other: Training commensurate with Surgical Technologist certification is required

Required Certification: 

BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Certified in Surgical Technology or eligible to take Surgical Technology Certification Exam is desired.
