Hours: 9:45pm - 6am Sunday - Thursday

Responsibilities:
- Completing maintenance duties with equipment certification team
- Setting up punches, drills, heat sealing and forming equipment, routers, and some saws for fabrication operations
- Selecting, installing, and making appropriate adjustments to tooling to various pieces of equipment to make parts to meet specifications
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering specifications, and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods, and sequence of operations
- Repairing and/or replacing parts on mechanical equipment such as small presses, drills, saws, grinders, routers, and mills
- Locating and replacing defective electrical components such as motors, fuses, potentiometers, brushes, starters, contractors, relays, switches, lighting ballasts, bulbs, and heating elements
- Operating forklift to retrieve equipment and die sets from racks; moving equipment as needed
- Using calipers, micrometers, rulers, and protractors to measure or inspect work to verify accuracy of setup
- Operating machine tools including lathes, mills, and drill presses to make or modify parts for machines, fixtures, or equipment
- Fabricating and repairing thermocouples
- Occasionally performing repair maintenance on forklifts
- Occasionally troubleshoot and repair electronic controls and eurotherms
- Repairing, building, constructing bins and shop benches, partitions, and making crates
- Compiling and updating extruder screw and barrel dimensions and inventory
- Occasionally operating and maintaining heating systems
Requirements:
- Associates degree or equivalent from college/technical school
- 3-5 years related experience or training; equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic knowledge of single and three-phase electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- MIG & TIG welding experience
- AC & DC motors experience/knowledge
