Field Construction Manager

Our client, a large networking and telecommunications company is seeking a Field Construction Manager to join their team in Springfield, IL. This is a great opportunity with a strong stable company that offers great growth potential. Here is what we are currently looking for:

Job Title: Field Construction Manager
Location: Springfield, IL
Pay range: $40/hr - $48/hr based on experience

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Manager with expertise in In-Building Radio Access Network (RAN) responsibilities. 
You will be responsible for overseeing all Civil Works aspects on a given project, with a specific focus on RF support and creating Bill of Materials (BOM). 

What’s the Job?

• Assess and control charges to the agreed site design. 
• Assure the installation of only Customer-approved materials on the project. 
• Provide on-site supervision in high-risk situations for disturbances in customer site performance. 
• Solve in-building problems as required during the project. 
• Enforce safety guidelines and construction procedures during the entire project. 
• Perform site pre-inspections, coordinate post-construction audits, and conduct site verification. 
• Offer technical assistance to Service Providers and other suppliers associated with in- building  
• Work with SPs and ensure compliance with in-building design plans. 
• Supervise, coordinate, and monitor works with Service Providers and other disciplines interfacing with the Civil Works part of the project. 
   

What’s Needed?

• This role will support the mid-west and will require up to 75% travel. 
• Must have in-building experience, including DOT, DAS, BDAs, and other in- building technologies. 
• Must have a strong competence in working with RF for in-building design solutions as well as creating BOMs. 
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in job-related roles with project builds over 200 sites. 
• Good knowledge and skills in identifying and solving complicated problems.
