LSF is looking for a talented Director of Strategic Projects who wants to make an impact in the lives of others.

Salary range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000 annually, dependent on experience.  

Purpose and Impact:

As the Director of Strategic Projects at LSF, you will spearhead the organization's most ambitious endeavors and growth prospects, ensuring the success of strategic initiatives. You will collaborate closely with program leadership and managers to craft long-term strategic objectives, translating them into actionable plans. Your role extends to fostering robust strategic partnerships crucial for LSF's business objectives while providing guidance to the Senior Manager of Strategic Partner-ships. Moreover, you will oversee project management across the organization, interfacing with key functions within LSF's leadership teams.

Essential Functions: 

Strategy

  • Provide pivotal support to the Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Leadership Team in identifying and executing LSF priorities.
  • Assist the Chief Strategy Officer in formulating a comprehensive strategic plan by assessing key strategic priori-ties and market dynamics.
  • Monitor market trends, technological advancements, and governmental activities relevant to LSF's operations, offering actionable insights derived from data analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to translate strategic goals into tangible projects, delineating their business and financial benefits.

Project Leadership and Management

  • Cultivate strong relationships across LSF, engaging with program leadership and stakeholders.
  • Take charge of critical initiatives, business implementations, and process improvements, ensuring seamless project management across cross-functional teams.
  • Spearhead change management initiatives essential for the adoption of new processes or technologies.
  • Lead discussions on project strategies, timelines, resource constraints, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Continuously analyze project outcomes to enhance decision-making and planning capabilities while refining project management processes organization wide.

Strategic Partnerships & Business Intelligence.

  • Define the long-term vision, strategy, and goals for LSF's strategic partnerships, overseeing the Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships.
  • Drive the implementation and enhancement of business intelligence reporting and analysis systems.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum three years working in operational non-profit sector role required. Experience working for a social service organization strongly preferred.
  • Minimum three years in project management, particularly from the functional, change management, and overall project management angles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and project management tools; experience with Microsoft BI is preferred/ advantageous.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Strong business analysis and change management skills, with a knack for building relationships and fostering trust.
  • Proven expertise in project management, risk assessment, and resource allocation.
  • Ability to distill complex information into actionable insights.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, coupled with analytical prowess and problem solving abilities.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Oversee the entire project pipeline and manage strategic projects.
  • Ensure project success through effective management and analysis.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships.
  • Adhere to LSF's personnel policies and procedures.

Other Functions:

  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Must demonstrate sensitivity to our service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and needs. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work for long periods of time at a computer.
  • Must be able to travel by common carrier and/or personal vehicle as necessary.
