Job Title: Quality Assurance Lab Technician

Job Description

We're looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Lab Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for adhering to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas. They will ensure all products conform to the product specifications as outlined in our SAP system, conduct analysis on raw deliveries, syrup batches and treated water, and maintain accurate records of all tests and retests performed. The role involves working closely with all departments to improve quality, increase efficiencies, and eliminate out of specification or damaged product. The candidate will also conduct chemical and physical analysis on raw and intermediate processing materials including packaging materials and determine the status of materials as acceptable or unacceptable. This role requires maintaining laboratory cleanliness at all times and completing special projects and other reasonable duties as assigned by Lead Hand or Management.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Tampa, Florida.

Work Environment

This job is situated in a Lab / Manufacturing setting. It involves continuous standing or walking. It requires regular need to give moderate attention with one or two senses at a time. The work and environment are very repetitive. There is pronounced pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy or similar demands.
