Position Overview

A Tr u s s A s s embly Supervisor will supervise the work of a team of tr u s s a s s emblers and lea d s. This position is responsible for overseeing the assembly pro cess in an efficient manner.

Essential Job Duties

  • Oversee safety tr aining all employees in your assigned work area.
  • Oversee pro d u ction build stations.
  • Understand shop floor software with the ability to load and del ete jobs as required .
  • Oversee the tr aining of all employees in assigned area of responsibility.
  • Maintain knowledge of build standards and perform quality con tr ol checks on all pro d u cts.
  • Report any damage of build equipment to manager or maintenance department.
  • Monitor pro d u ction workflow pro cess.
  • Adhere to established safety rules and regulations and follows all safety pro cedures; maintain a safe environment.
  • Comply with Company's attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
  • Pro vide excellent customer service and participate in a positive work environment.
  • Monitor inventory as required by location management.
  • Retain an awareness of the work environment critical to the task at hand to pro d u ce error free and damage free results.
  • Participate in and complete assigned tr ainings .


  • Complies with Company's attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.

Criteria for Supervisor

  • Supervises 8 or more associates (direct & indirect reports)
  • Budgeting responsibilities
  • Hire/fire input
  • Goal setting & communication (directly or relaying from management)
  • Pro vide performance feedback


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Minimum education required - High school education and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum experience required - Prior carpen tr y experience hel pful
  • Special skills required - Must be able to read a tape measure and use a hammer. Ability to lea rn to ope r a t e equipment such as r out ers, saws, presses, and staple guns.
  • Physical demands include exposure to ex tr eme temperatures, lifting up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis and up to 100 lbs. occasionally. Dusty and noisy environment when ope r a t i ng woodworking machines and tools. Ear pro tection required when exposed to noise for an extended period of time.
  • Eye pro tection and hard sole lea ther shoes required at all times.

  • 3+ years indus tr y experience / tr u s s a s s embly
