Position Summary:

As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.  Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting as required.  Ensures that nursing personnel are providing direct care to residents and providing such care in accordance with the residents' care plan and wishes. 


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Associate degree preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or ACLS supersedes the BLS requirement
  • First Aid or First Aid CPR AED within 30 days of hire
  • Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card underway upon hire. Card must be turned in within 60 days after hire
