MUST HAVE:
- 6 months to 1 year of histo technician experience.
- (Preferred) ASPC Certification
Job Description:
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.
- Performs routine and non-routine activities involved in the preparation of slides for microscopic evaluation by pathologists, according to policies and procedures.
- Capable of performing all of the duties/responsibilities of a Histo Technician.
- Identifying colon cancer, stomach cancers, chrome disease.
- Ensure proper accessioning and labeling of all tissue samples.
- Process paperwork associated with accessioning and reporting.
Contract: 1 year
