Aerotek is hiring for our client located in Vernon Hills, IL within their warehouse team on the 1st shift (9am-6pm M-F). This position would require the use of the warehouse equipment including stand-up forklift, and the use of the warehouse management database.
Job Duties:
- Will be working within a warehouse distribution setting- utilizing the stand-up reach truck, stand-up order picker, and other equipment as needed
- Picking outbound orders from inventory, and preparing for shipment. (packaging, wrapping, and labeling shipment)
- Will be trained on the functions within the warehouse management system, and documenting information daily
- Cross-trained in shipping and receiving functions as needed
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety.
Additional Information:
- Schedule: 9:00am-6:00pm Monday through Friday, OT based off demands offered.
- Pay: the starting pay rate is between $18-20.00 per hour based off experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications required:
- Previous recent experience within warehouse/distribution
- Experience using warehouse equipment including the stand-up forklift, stand-up order picker, and/or reach truck
