Rivermont School located at 240 Clearfield Ave in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a qualified Mental Health Associate to work under the collaborative supervision of a BCBA/BCaBA, and principal.  The Mental Health Associate provides instructional support to assigned student(s).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team to implement appropriate services.
  • Provide instructional support to students using PBIS, ABA, and VB techniques.
  • Maintain student confidentiality per agency policy, FERPA/HIPAA privacy rule regulations, and student/counselor confidentiality.

Located throughout Virginia, Rivermont schools provide a therapeutic educational program for students ages 2-22 in early education through post-graduate studies with special needs, including those associated with autism spectrum disorder, behavioral challenges, and have difficulty learning in a traditional school setting.
