Hours: 4pm-Midnight Monday-Friday
QPS Employment Group is hiring a Service Repair Tech for a company in Waunakee, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity.
Service Repair Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot problems on failed units
- Work in a safe manner and follow all safety rules and policies
- Disassemble and evaluate failed units
- Make sure paperwork matches the units
- Receive product into SAP/RGA system
- Disassemble units returned for stock
- Rebuild paperwork write up
- Assist production group
- Scrap product
- Stage product
- Maintain 5S
- Follow and use JI’s/SRD’s
- Other duties as assigned
- Be an active participant in the company’s suggestion, quality, efficiency, and cost savings programs
Service Repair Tech Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical experience preferred
- Mechanical knowledge
- Ability to learn and perform basic troubleshooting and gearbox analysis
- Basic computer skills
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Stand on feet and move around for up to 8-10 hours per day
