  • The daily pursuit of this job is leading the Front Desk team in providing top-notch service and a welcoming Glacier adventure for guests.
  • The compensation for this role is $18.00/hour.
  • Job responsibilities include assisting with the management of all aspects of Front Desk operations, acting as an example of excellent guest service, communicating effectively with all departments and managers, registering and assigning rooms to guests, informing guests of special events or activities, and being a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties.
  • Skills and experience required for this job include a Hotel Management degree or 1-2 years related management experience, 1-2 years previous hotel front desk experience, a strong work ethic and commitment to the team and guest, the ability to work solo or as part of a team, commitment to safety and high cleaning standards, organization and attention to detail, good communication and problem-solving skills, and a friendly and helpful attitude.
  • The work environment will be in iconic and inspiring Glacier National Park, with amazing scenery and wildlife, historic hotels, lodges, and cabins, and a physical working environment that may require walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance.

What will be your daily pursuit?:

Your daily pursuit is leading our amazing Front Desk team in providing our guests with top-notch service and a welcoming Glacier adventure!

What is the compensation for this role?:

$18.00/hour

What will you do in this job?:
  • Assist with management of all aspects of Front Desk operations: Scheduling, training, coaching, discipline, etc..
  • Act as an example of excellent guest service for the team
  • Communicate effectively with all departments & managers to ensure coordination with arrivals, departures, guest needs, etc
  • May be asked to attend weekly manager meetings
  • Register and assign rooms to guests, maintaining knowledge of availability for walk-in guests
  • Communicate with housekeeping to update the status of room readiness, arrivals, and departures
  • Inform guests of special events or activities around the hotel and in the surround area
  • Keeps record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details to supervisor
  • Assist as needed with set up of rooms for special events, meetings, conferences and banquets
  • Offers assistance to guests and teammates where needed
  • Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties

What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
  • Hotel Management degree or 1-2 years related management experience required
  • 1-2 years previous hotel front desk experience required
  • Work-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key
  • Be willing and able to work solo or as part of a team
  • Be committed to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standards
  • Be organized with a great eye for detail
