Description:
Performs inspections, testing, monitoring, and auditing of incoming raw materials and packaging toquality standards.Troubleshoots, investigates, and reacts to non-conforming raw materials and packaging, includingproduct dispositions, corrective actions, and credit requests. Maintains electronic database housing quality records such as internal specifications and vendordocuments including COA’s.Develops strong working relationships with supplier contacts (Quality, Customer Service, and/orpurchasing).Provides technical assistance and support to Purchasing and Product Development, during vendorand/or raw material or packaging approvals. Monitors aging raw material and packaging inventory and reacts accordingly: including requests forshelf-life extensions and communication with materials management.Participates in the sensory evaluation of raw materials and finished products as required.Performs other related duties or projects as assigned.
