Laboratory Technician | Paying up to $24/hr.
Description:
- Performs analytical testing on environmental samples
- Conduct laboratory tests and experiments under the guidance of lead laboratory staff
- Collect and analyze data, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Prepare samples, solutions, and reagents for testing
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
- Help with preparatory work involving GC-MS
Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of laboratory techniques, including sample preparation, microscopy, spectrophotometry, etc., is helpful, but not mandatory
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow experimental protocol
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
- Problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues in experiments or equipment
- Knowledge of laboratory techniques, including sample preparation, microscopy, spectrophotometry, etc., is helpful, but not mandatory
