Manager of Web Conversion Analytics

Location: Wilmington, DE (Hybrid schedule)

We are seeking a Manager of Website Conversion Analytics to join our team in Wilmington, DE. This individual will use advanced analytics and latest marketing knowledge to build, socialize, and execute upon digital conversion and website strategies.

Digital marketing is primary focus for OneMain Financial to drive originations, as we continue to digitize our branch-centric acquisition model.

This is a high impact and high visibility role, partnering closely with Marketing, Technology, and Operations. It requires experience in digital marketing, web analytics, landing page A/B testing, customer path analysis, and understanding of omnichannel customer experience.

A successful candidate will apply a well-thought-out analytical approach to solving complex problems, will possess collaborative and influencing skills.

Culture-wise, will have pursuit of excellence, high integrity, and bias for action and speed. She/he will be a self-starter and use critical reasoning and data skills to develop insights, suggest/test new ideas, and drive actionable and meaningful solutions.

In the Role

  •  Reduce funnel fallout and increase app submissions using a combination of landing page testing, elimination of user journey friction, offer presentment/placements, personalization, text/imagery changes, and new app features. Closely partner with the acquisition lane leadership to develop, prioritize, launch and analyze the lane’s learning agenda.
  • Use analytical techniques such as segmentation, benchmarking, binning, clustering, correlations, regressions, and outlier treatments to develop analytical insights and learnings that can help test variations to landing pages.
  • Develop subject matter expertise on digital data concepts, such as de-anonymizing and de-duping prospects, matching leads to personas, event creation and tagging, customer path analytics, page/form engagement analytics etc.
  • Develop test design and post-test analytics, such as defining target KPIs and analysis plan including sample-size requirements for statistical significance, quantifying business value, drilldowns on large variances to uncover root cause, and monitoring with data visualization tools/dashboards.
  • Communicate with senior leaders across the organization to evangelize customer conversion strategy and keep key stakeholders abreast of latest funnel conversion results and development.
  • Stay on top of competitor web experiences to maintain best-in-class practices, web analytical methods and solutions, and new data sources for continuous improvement. Monitor and report on funnel performance; maintain/enhance data structure for funnel analytics and alerts.
  • Manage one or several high-performing analysts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics or Computer Science. MBA or Master’s degree with concentration on Marketing, Data Science, or Statistics is preferred
  • Proactive and self-driven. Possesses a strong analytical mindset to conceive, socialize, and project manage data-driven web improvements, driving meaningful impacts on digital conversions.
  • Skilled in independently performing mid/complex web analytics on well-structured data. At-least mid-level proficiency and hands-on SQL skills (and/or R, SAS, Python) with ability to self-serve on constructing data joins, data aggregation and manipulation, and building segmentation. Advanced excel skills.
  • 5+ years of analytical experience in digital marketing, preferably with a focus on conversion rate optimization.
  • 2+ years of experience managing across teams and/or mentoring junior analysts.

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with conversion analytics tools (such as Heap, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Optimizely, GlassBox, HotJar etc.)
  • Domain knowledge of websites and ability to act as a liaison between analytics and technology teams.
  • Knowledge of statistics, probabilities, and NPVs.
  • Experience leveraging data visualization and digital marketing tools such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau.
  • Lending or consumer finance industry experience.
