Distillation Operator
Job Description:
- Run Distillation and Reaction process equipment
- Inventory management through paperwork transfers.Â
- Charging of stills, Process plumbing lineups with hoses hard lines and fittings to and from tanks.
- Packaging of citrus oils in drums/pails/gallon containers with various methods.
- Sampling and labeling distillation cuts and running GC analysis on cuts and in process samples. Â
- Making run condition changes/decisions based on analysis
- Adhering to GMP/HACCP/Food Safety Standards. Â
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Ability to bend, stoop, stretch, reach and duck. Â
- Must be mechanically inclined.Â
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- GED-HS Diploma Req.
- Simple Mathematics understanding Req. Addition/Subtraction/Multiplication/Division
- Experience in chemical processing and automated control systems a plus.
- Must complete a Math assessment before considering them.
