We require a Permanent CNC Machinist to join our team in South Oxfordshire.

Our client specializes in precision manufacturing and seeks an individual experienced in operating HAAS TL-1 CNC lathes and other machining equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to their expanding department!

Salary: 29,000 - 31,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Location: South Oxfordshire

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:30 am - 4:30 pm

Start date: Immediate

About the role:

As a CNC Machinist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Programming, setting, and operating HAAS TL-1 CNC lathes.
  • Operating a variety of manual machines such as lathes, milling machines, and drills.
  • Conducting inspections on finished work pieces using measuring equipment including CMM, micrometers, vernier calipers, and height gauges.
  • Fabricating jigs and fixtures for component work holding as needed.
  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation in the Machine Shop.
  • Adhering to company health and safety regulations and ISO 9001:2015 procedures.
  • Performing other duties as required.

About you as the CNC Machinist:

  • Previous experience operating HAAS TL-1 CNC lathes and other machining equipment.
  • Proficient in manual machining techniques.
  • Familiarity with various measuring equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
