Team Manager Vacancy - Permanent

A national charity that supports people living with mental health are looking to secure a Team Manager to support the Registered Manager on a permanent basis. You will be ensuring the quality of service and support provided to service users and managing front line staff.

Length of Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £29,290 - £30,778 inclusive per annum

Location: Abingdon

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing care and support to 14 service users, recovering from mental health issues
  • Ensure the highest quality support is offered to all residents, which is delivered efficiently and effectively
  • Promote and manage all referrals into the service, ensuring these meet service criteria
  • Manage the quality and support provided to clients in line with policies and procedures
  • Directly line manage and provide supervision to all front-line staff ensuring that rotas are staffed appropriately
  • Ensuring training is appropriately identified and delivered where appropriate and in line with national initiatives
  • Provide individual and group support sessions to service users to enable them to move into suitable and sustainable work and/or learning opportunities

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven experience of previous line management
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of supporting vulnerable clients
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Housing and Care & Support market sectors
  • Ability to proficiently use IT systems, including working with databases, Microsoft office, email, internet
