Due to continued investment a leading Aerospace business are looking for an MRB Engineer join the business on a 12 months contract basis, to play a key part in the production of exciting new products within their engine services department, with a focus on composites.
As the MRB engineer you will be required to;
- Provide support to design and production
- Respond to customer enquiries
- Conduct investigations into non-conformances working with the wider team
- Oversee processing of non-conformances in accordance with customer requirements
- Analyse recurring cases for the implementation of improvement plans
- Draft elements to be exported to clients
To be successful in the role of MRB Engineer, you will already be working in a similar role, working closely with other departments with involvement in the Material Review activities, along with the following requirements.
- Degree in an Engineering/Quality/Manufacturing bias
- Knowledge of assembly / manufacturing processes
- Understanding of calculations / methods involved in assembly or production
- Hands on experience with MRB activities or technical disposition
- Knowledge of composite materials within manufacturing
- Use and consultation of tools such as PLM/CATIA.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
