Mechanical Field Engineer

EFAB Industrial Solutions are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Field Engineerfrom a Mechanical / Piping background for a major project based in Alloa.

This essential role will play an important part in the continued success of the project, reporting directly to the senior management team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Scope Management
• Quality Tracking
• Develop, test, and evaluate theoretical designs
• Analyse data from tests
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Perform regular maintenance on equipment
• Design and develop test plans for new and existing products
• Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanisms, components and systems
• Develop and implement cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliability
• Provide technical advice and guidance to other engineers and clients
• Conduct site visits to inspect equipment and evaluate performance
• Test and evaluate the performance of mechanical systems and components
• Create and update technical documentation and reports

This role could suit a vastly experienced Mechanical Field Engineer, or a Junior Engineer from a Mechanical / Piping background looking for their next challenge.
