Sales and Design Consultant - Full Time, Permanent

Salary: 24.5k-25.5k Per Annum (DOE)

Our client based in Aylesbury is seeking a Sales and Design Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with customer quotations and sales orders, as well as supporting the sales and design team with customer enquiries and ad-hoc tasks. You do not need to have any previous sales experience, however if you are a strong communicator with experience in a customer facing role, then we would love to hear from you!

Duties:

  • Processing customer quotations and sales orders after showroom visits and consultations
  • Sending out customer brochure requests that come through daily
  • Completing sale order paperwork, ready to be handed over to the customer care team
  • Supporting the sales and design team with any ad-hoc tasks
  • Dealing with customer enquiries by telephone, live chat, and email
  • Welcoming customers when they arrive in the showroom, offering them drinks and introducing them to their showroom host
  • Providing customers with in-depth showroom tours
  • Completing full design consultation and maintaining a high standard throughout the day

Requirements:

  • Must have a clean UK driving license and own transport
  • Previous experience in a customer facing office role
  • Strong and accurate data entry skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a team
  • IT savvy and be able to use in house systems
  • Ability to multi-task and manage a busy workload

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am -5pm with half hour paid lunch break

You will be required to work 2 days in every 4 weekends (this will be taken as a lieu day the following week)
