Key Responsibilities:
- Take the lead in operating metal-forming presses, shaping, cutting, and stamping metal components to perfection.
- Fine-tune machine controls like a virtuoso, adjusting speed, pressure, and temperature to orchestrate the perfect performance.
- Inspect finished products with an eagle eye for quality, ensuring they not only meet but exceed our high standards.
- Be the guardian of product quality by making necessary adjustments to machine settings and maintaining top-tier precision.
- Turn engineering drawings and blueprints into reality, decoding specifications and tolerances with precision.
- Follow detailed instructions for each job, turning raw materials into dimensions of excellence.
- Maintain the rhythm of our production through routine maintenance on presses and associated tools, ensuring they operate at peak performance.
- Identify and report equipment quirks, ensuring the smooth flow of our production.
- Follow with safety guidelines, creating a secure and inspiring workplace.
- Suit up in personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures, ensuring everyone plays a harmonious part in our safety chorus.
- Work closely with team members, engineers, and quality control personnel for a seamless production symphony.
- Communicate effectively, ensuring that our team is in sync, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Conduct the score of production data, maintaining accurate records of quantities produced, machine settings, and quality nuances.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation, ensuring our production runs hit all the right notes.
Salary: 24,000-£26,000
Working Hours: Full-time position, Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm (Friday 7:00 am to 2:00 pm).
