Site Supervisor

We are excited to be working with an extremely reputable and market leading manufacturing company. The company design, build, and service bespoke high value capital equipment for manufacturing businesses. They’re now seeking a Site Supervisor to join the team and lead the installations team.

The Role of Site Supervisor

We are recruiting for Site Supervisors to lead all site installation activities across the UK. This is an opportunity to manage, control and deliver either a large complex project or a number of smaller projects simultaneously to the satisfaction of both the company and client. 

Key Responsibilities

• Site inspections/surveys
• To ensure that all statutory and company health and safety requirements are met
• Hands on fitting/fabrication works 
• Creation of Method Statement
• Subcontractor management
• Labour, materials and tool planning & co-ordination
• To ensure that company procedures are complied with and that relevant information is communicated with the project staff.
• To develop good relationships with the client and potential clients along with their respective advisors
• To work with the Operations Manager ensuring that the projects are adequately staffed by suitably qualified and experienced staff and that future needs are identified
• Lead by example setting the required standards of behaviour and conduct for the project
• Some mechanical fault finding and repair assignments post installation

About You

• Apprentice trained Mechanical Fitter or Fabricator
• The role requires the ability to represent the best interests of the company in direct dealings with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors.
• You will have proven experience of leading teams onsite including sub-contractors
• Extensive UK travel

Benefits

• Salary £38k basic with circa £50k - £60k OTE
