Project Engineer

Manpower is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our client's team in Yeovil.

This role is on a 6-month fixed term contract, where you will be integral to a team focused on achieving program-specific performance targets within the aerospace sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans, schedules, and milestones in line with customer expectations using earned value metrics.
  • Monitor and maintain project plans to ensure milestone adherence and on-time product delivery.
  • Create and track work packages for internal suppliers to support technical and schedule compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Manage project requirements, including validation and proper allocation.
  • Oversee project risks and implement mitigation plans.

Requirements:

  • HND/HNC/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Experience in a project engineering environment, with a thorough understanding of the engineering lifecycle from conception to commissioning.
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with suppliers and integrated supply chains within the project lifecycle.

Additional Information:

All candidates must pass a drug and alcohol screening and a DBS check prior to starting on-site.
