Working within the IT Operations team, the IT System Administrator will provide high level technical support across multiple systems and applications as well as supporting projects to improve IT services.
Key Accountabilities:
- To manage both on-prem and cloud hosted infrastructure (Azure)
- To monitor the health and performance of IT Systems
- To respond quickly and efficiently to high risk/security incidents
- To plan, monitor and test system and data backups in line with IT policies.
- To assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects.
We are looking for:
- Experience as a Systems Administrator/ Infrastructure Engineer within a hybrid environment
- Azure storage accounts
- Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
- Azure Virtual machine management
- Exchange Management
- Active Directly domain knowledge
- Hypervisor virtualisation management (ideally VMWare)
- Backup solutions (ideally VEEAM)
- Infrastructure performance monitoring
