The Company
A leading engineering company who specialise in the design and manufacture of advanced breaking systems for a number of different applications.
The Role
The Mechanical Assembler will assemble component parts to make up finished assemblies in compliance with in house and customer specifications.
The work will include the following:
Establish assembly operations from parts list, working instructions and drawings.
Assemble and test products to specification, referring to working instructions and drawings, using air gun and spanners, paying particular attention to cleanliness of parts.
View priority build board and select kit of parts for next assembly.
Provide support for requirements of ISO 9001.
Operate overhead travelling gantry crane and provide correct slinging procedure to load and transport large items.
The Candidate
To apply for this role, you must
1. Working to engineering drawings
2. Experience with building mechanical assemblies
3. Good manual dexterity
4. A team player, with an efficient and proactive approach.
Hours.
Mon - Thurs 6am - 2:30pm. Fri - 6am - 10:30am.
