Job Description:

As a Site Manager for our client, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion. .

General Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Lead and coordinate all on-site activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and subcontractor management, to ensure project milestones are achieved within budget and timeline constraints.

  2. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.

  3. Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues promptly.

  4. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders. Keep all parties informed of project progress, changes, and challenges, and address any concerns in a timely and professional manner.

  5. Resource Management: Manage and optimize the utilization of materials, equipment, and manpower to maximize efficiency and minimize waste. Procure materials and equipment as needed, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.

  6. Problem Solving: Anticipate and proactively address potential issues or obstacles that may arise during the construction process. Develop and implement effective solutions to keep the project on track and within budget.

  7. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily progress reports, site records, and change orders. Ensure all documentation is organized, accessible, and compliant with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Thorough understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.
