We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a Solihull based primary school.
Contract: Mon - Fri, 8:30AM - 3:30PM - Term Time Only
Salary: Final salary based on experience
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and foster a love for learning.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to students, offering guidance and assistance with classwork and homework assignments.
- Supporting the social and emotional well-being of students, promoting positive behaviour and conflict resolution strategies.
- Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students, including those with special educational needs and English as an additional language.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- An Enhanced DBS check to ensure the safety and well-being of our students.
- Previous experience working within a school setting
- A QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or relevant teaching or education qualification.

This OFSTED rated 'GOOD' school is a long-standing establishment that was founded within the 19th century, with the present site being open since 1957. Every day the school welcomes 210 children through its doors, who are aged between 4 and 11 years.
They hold strong religious values very highly here, and religious education is central.
Within OFSTED's latest inspection in 2019, they reported that all the staff and governors hold a shared vision, which underpins everything that is done within the school, which consequently makes it a happy place to be.
