About the role

Vision for Education are looking to appoint a SEND Teacher to work in a specialist setting teaching children with a range of complex needs and disabilities, including physical and medical needs. This is a full-time, full planning role starting September 2024.

The school are looking for an ambitious SEND teacher who has a passion for teaching children with SEND and can offer the very best teaching and learning to their pupils and ensure they achieve the excellent outcomes they deserve.

Previous SEND teaching experience is essential, as the school is looking for teachers who can work with pupils with communication and interaction difficulties.

This SEND specialist school is based in Coleford are a large inclusive school supporting students and pupils from nursery to secondary ages with a range of complex needs and disabilities, including physical and medical needs.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEND Teacher you will:

  • Previous experience of working in a special needs setting or knowledge and understanding of special needs education is essential
  • Teachers who can work with pupils with communication and interaction difficulties and other associated complex needs
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
