Reed is excited to partner with a brand-new school in Kidderminster in their search for experienced Teaching Assistants. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to support class teachers and foster supportive relationships with pupils, aiding their personal development in a nurturing environment.
Day to Day of the Role:- Support pupils with their learning and general wellbeing, ensuring every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
- Assist with care needs, implement positive behaviour management strategies, and adopt tailored approaches to individual children’s needs.
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality and challenging educational activities by supporting the teaching of the curriculum.
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher and other staff to create a caring and safe learning environment.
- A warm and caring personality that resonates with children and staff.
- Effective and positive behaviour management skills.
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within SEN settings.
- DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one.
