The School and Role

This large, 2-form entry primary school, based in the Birkenhead area of Wirral, are looking to appoint a nurturing and passionate SEN Classroom Assistant to support in their school on a full time basis.  The role is based at the school's specialist SEN base, and will be focused around supporting children from across KS1 & KS2 with ASD and learning difficulties.  The role will also involve taking part in a nurture class for EYFS & KS1, supporting children with SEMH.  Both classes will have opportunities for working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis.

Requirements

The desired SEN Teaching Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working with primary school aged children with SEN

-          A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
