Robert Half are partnering with a rapidly growing and established Manufacturing business based in Aston, to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant on a permanent, full-time basis.
**This is an opportunity to become a 'number two' to the Head of Finance**
As Assistant Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:
- Assist with the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Month end reporting
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Monthly payroll and associated reporting
- Ownership of related company transactions and reporting
- Mentorship of the sales and purchase ledger team
To be considered for the role, you must have the following experience:
- Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills
- Live within a commutable distance to the Aston site (Birmingham)
- Have excellent numerical, literacy and communication skills
- Be confident working under pressure to meet deadlines and have a great eye for detail
- Part-Qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
As Assistant Management Accountant, you will be entitled to the following:
- £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
