Their sales team is now in need of further support and is looking to enhance its team by adding a Sales Coordinator who demonstrates strong sales administration and customer service skills, and can confidently turn queries into sales.
The details
- Work hours: 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday with a 4pm finish on Friday
- Salary guide: £26,000 to £30,000
- Bonus scheme based on performance
- 20 days holiday rising with length of service
- 6 shutdown days and bank holidays
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Provide overall sales support to the dynamic sales team and Commercial Manager
- Create in-depth customer quotations and process orders within agreed timeframes
- Close sales and further business by following up on outstanding quotations
- Use your product knowledge to promote products, upsell, and cross-sell effectively
- Respond to incoming customer queries and resolve customer complaints
- Keep abreast of stock levels and delivery dates, feeding back to customers
Skills and experience
- Has gained previous experience within a similar sales coordinator/sales administrator role
- Preferably gained experience within the manufacturing or technical sector
- Customer-focused, understands customer requirements and always goes above and beyond
- Demonstrates strong sales and commercial acumen, enjoys identifying opportunities and maximising accounts
- Can use their initiative to effectively upsell and cross-sell
- Confident user of Microsoft Office packages, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
