Night Support Worker

A job opportunity has arisen for a Night Support Worker in Bishops Stortford. This is a 3 month temporary to permanent role.Length: 3 Months Temporary to PermanentHours: Night shifts – 8pm – 8am (3 days on, 3 days off)Location: Bishops StortfordPay: £12.00 per hour including holiday paySalary: £23,806 per annumThe role involves:• Providing a night concierge service to residents and visitors within a homeless hostel• Conducting curfew checks • Controlling access to the building• Monitoring CCTV systems to identify any possible incidents• Undertaking frequent and regular patrols of the building and monitoring any anti-social behaviour• Dealing with health and safety issues• Acting as a fire warden in the event of a fire alarm being triggered• Contacting the “on call” manager in the event of an emergency or serious incident• Being compassionate and caring in the event a resident is feeling vulnerable• Dealing with mental health crisis that may arise
