The Company:Nigel Wright is recruiting for a Head of Marketing to join a leading consumer services organisation with headquarters in the North of England. This is an exciting role that will lead the function and the group's marketing strategy and execution in line with growth plans, reporting to the board. The business has doubled in size over the last few years and they are moving into the next phase of growth and transformation.The Role:
  • Create a digital first customer acquisition strategy.
  • Develop and manage an existing CRM programme to maximise the value of the existing database.
  • Responsible for all branding, including new product lines and services.
  • Manage and grow an existing marketing team, to transform the structure from a marketing support function to driving all commercial activities of the business.
  • Responsible for developing a content and social strategy to align with the customer acquisition strategy.
  • Ownership of comprehensive reporting including all relevant key performance indicators across the business.
  • Fully responsible for all budget allocation in marketing and presenting commercial results.
The Person:
  • The successful candidate will have gained leadership experience in a consumer services environment.
  • Strong experience leading digital communications teams. 
  • Experience managing a marketing function aligned to growth targets.
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced B2C environment where communication strategy is customer first.
  • This is a role for someone willing to 'get stuck in' and work amongst the digital function of what is a very successful consumer business. 
  • Strong communicator, not afraid to push back, liaise with various stakeholders and report to the board on a regular basis.
  • A team player able to coach, mentor and lead a marketing team to drive growth and generate results.
  • The business is looking for a confident, marketing leader capable of executing both the strategy and budget, driving brand awareness and excelling in new product launches.
