Join FMCG company dedicated to delivering high-quality products while prioritising the Health and Safety of their workforce. As company continue to grow, they are seeking a diligent and proactive Health and Safety Advisor to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Health and Safety policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory standards and company objectives
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective measures, RIDDOR etc
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on health and safety practices, emergency procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend preventive actions to minimise recurrence
  • Be up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to continuously improve Health and Safety initiatives

What's needed

  • Health and Safety related qualifications - NEBOSH or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a Health and Safety role within the FMCG food industry
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence team members at all levels
