Are you a Customer Service Team Leader or a Customer Service Representative looking to take the next step who wants to work for an established Manufacturer? You will be based at the Head Office in Bolton and be part of a group of companies with a team based across the UK and internationally.  All the company's products are designed and developed at head office.  Your main function will be to build customer relationships (both internally and externally) working closely with the Sales Team and the wider business and drive change. You will be rewarded with, a supportive business, training and development opportunities and (no weekend working). Salary of £27,000 - £30,000, hours 38 and are Monday to Thursday 7.30 am to 4.00 pm, Friday 7.30 am – 12.50 pm.     

Customer Service Team Leader Duties:   

  • Working in the team on day to day tasks as well as being responsible for driving change.  
  • Accept and handle incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence.    
  • Maintain input on systems of changes, lead times. 
  • Able to delegate workloads effectively and evenly between team members. 
  • Build a good level of product knowledge and proactively drive improvements in customer service and customer experience. 
  • Answer technically queries and keep up to date with new products. 
  • Connecting with your customers from initial online enquiry and have a drive to understand their needs.    
  • Dealing with and responding to a high volume of emails from customers and internal departments.    
  • Monitoring the customer service email inbox.  
  • Deal with aftersales call via telephone and email, along with basic returns.  
  • Liaising with internal departments to manage customer requests and deliveries. 
  • Prepare, organise and manage bespoke quotations, following up on quotes and turning into confirmed sales along with sales order processing. 
  • Using your specialist skills to meet customer requirements and support them through the sales/ aftersales process. 
  • Dealing with complaints, simplify complex situations and apply sound judgment to resolve problems. 
  • Drive performance of team members, ensuring KPI’s are met. 

Customer Service Team Leader Requirements: 

  • 5 years previous experience in a Customer Service Team Leader position or Customer Service Representative looking to take the next step in their career with a knowledge of selling products in a manufacturing background would be advantageous. 
  • People management/ leading teams experience is required. 
  • Worked in a fast-paced environment and can meet deadlines essential.  
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise own workload, experience of Microsoft office, Word, Outlook and CRM, systems desirable.  
  • Good Communication skills, ability to build rapport quickly, team player.   
  • Must have a high level off accuracy, strong communication both written and verbally.
