This ‘Good’ special school that caters to students aged 11 – 16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs are looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant. Working in this school as a SEN Teaching Assistant you will be joining a school that aims to remove any barriers students face with learning and give them a positive educational experience.

Requirements:

The desired SEN Teaching Assistant will:

  • Have experience working with children with additional needs
  • Have a patient and caring nature
  • Have the ability to motivate and engage students
  • Have the ability to de-escalate challenging behaviours
