Operations Manager

Full time, Permanent, based in Holsworthy, Salary up to £35,000 with excellent benefits, Study support, career progression, death in service.

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the organisation
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
• Ensure effective resource planning and allocation
• Monitor and evaluate operational performance and productivity
• Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
• Manage and optimise operational budgets
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and departments
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Implement and maintain quality control measures
• Resolve operational issues and conflicts
• Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practises

• Proven experience in operations management
• Strong knowledge of business operations and processes
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficient in using computer systems and software

• Thorough understanding of operational principles and best practises
• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards

• Professional certification in operations management or related field
• A Degree level qualification in management, engineering, or a relevant science discipline
• Business development experience in defence/security, offshore energy, and/or marine science sectors
• Experience in installing/integrating and operating marine sensors / transducers and systems

This role is based in South West England, Devon, Holsworthy. The Project Manager is expected to work full-time hours on a permanent basis. The job may require occasional travel and flexibility in working hours to accommodate business needs.
