Customer Account Manager - Team Leader/Supervisor

£26,000 - £28,000

Monday to Friday 8:30am- 5:30pm

Our client who is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer care and are currently seeking a Customer Account Manager with Team Leader/Supervisory experience for a brand-new position due to growth. You will be based in their Earls Colne warehouse, and you will go between the office and warehouse environment, working closely with the Account Managers and Fulfilment Manager daily.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for all client communications and deliver exceptional levels of customer care.
  • Taking responsibility for complex queries and escalating issues to relevant managers'.
  • Answer and direct telephone calls and emails promptly and professionally
  • Meet and greet site visitors, providing a warm and friendly welcome.
  • Assist with the onboarding process of new clients, collaborating closely with the management team.
  • Support managers in building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Fulfilment Manager and Warehouse Manager to address customer service issues and achieve successful resolutions.
  • Manage client expectations by effectively communicating organisation capabilities.
  • Assist the management team in implementing and delivering new client campaigns and procedures.
  • Process daily system errors and upload stock and order spreadsheets to our Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Manage carrier-related tasks, including raising claims and updating rates.

Desired experience:

  • Previous experience working in an office, warehouse or customer-service-based role ideally within a Team Leader or Supervisor capacity.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and email programmes
  • Professionalism, integrity, and commitment in handling customer interactions
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and prioritise tasks effectively.
