Spanish Galleon is a pub full of character, with a saloon and main bar in the downstairs pub, separate lounge upstairs with additional bar, seating and small balcony overlooking the bustling Greenwich market.
About the role
This is a full-time role for a Senior General Manager at Wellman Taverns (London) Limited located in Greenwich. The Senior General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the establishment, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

About you as a General Manager
- Experienced General Manager who has worked in busy London pubs (desirable) for a considerable number of years
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Has brewery background and in-depth cellar knowledge – being able to tend to ales
- Customer service is the utmost important driving force, can lead the team from the front
- Can uphold the values of a traditional pub and present this with flawless service
- This is a sales driving role – expected to take the pub to new heights
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Passion for food and drink
- This position is a live-in only
