Teaching Assistant Opportunity - Bridgend School
Join our compassionate team in Bridgend, where we are committed to nurturing and supporting primary-aged pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as those facing trauma and exhibiting challenging behaviour.
Position Overview:
- Location: Bridgend
- Pupils: Up to 140 primary-aged students
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- Rate: £12.82/hr (inclusive of holiday pay)
- Contract: Term time only, with weekly pay - available from September 2024
- Flexibility: Flexible shifts and ad-hoc cover
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within SEND settings
- Strong behaviour management skills
- An empathetic approach to the complex needs of the children
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

Mandatory Credentials:
- Full registration with REED
- An enhanced DBS check
