Payroll Assistant (FTC) – Brigg - £28k-£30k

Benjamin Edwards are recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Payroll Assistant to join the payroll team at a highly reputable, fast-growing, and forward-thinking company. The role is to assist with the daily operations of the payroll department, providing payroll support to managers, and ensuring weekly schedules are submitted accurately and on time. This is a fixed term contract for 6-12 months (with the potential to extend).

The role of the Payroll Assistant

• Monitor the submission of weekly schedules

• Provide first line support for payroll queries

• Ensuring any updates in payroll records are processed accurately

• Conduct pay checks prior to payroll submission deadlines

• Pension reconciliation and submission

The ideal candidate for the role of Payroll Assistant

• Payroll experience essential (minimum 2 years)

• Knowledge of using payroll systems with large data sets

• Excellent eye for detail

• Experience using Excel spreadsheets
