Description
- Reviewing financial and operational processes for integrity and accuracy
- Identifying and assessing areas of significant company risk
- Developing flexible annual audit plans using appropriate risk-based methodology
- Presenting findings and recommendations to management
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
- Performing audit procedures to verify that controls are operating effectively
- Preparing and presenting reports that reflect audit results
Profile
A successful Internal Auditor should have:
- A background in Auditing either internal or external
- Proficiency in data analysis and report writing
- Knowledge of auditing standards and procedures
- Strong analytical skills and detail orientation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with accounting software
