Maintenance Electrician

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Electricians to join our Maintenance team on site at our manufacturing plant in Burton.

Salary and Package:

• Working 40 hours per week
• 08:00-16:00 Monday to Friday
• 45,000 basic salary

The role:

• You will be working within the Maintenance Department supporting the Maintenance manager. Your role will be to ensure all the plant machinery is is operating to maintain production.
• Repairing and maintaining electrical systems and equipment
• Fault Finding on electrical systems
• Testing of electrical systems and equipment
• PPM
• Ensuring Risk Assessments are completed prior to commencing any task
• Following LOTO procedure

Skills required:

• NVQ level 3
• 18th edition Wiring Regulations qualification
• Experience with SCADA systems
• Have the ability to diagnose AC/DC motor faults
• AC/DC motor speed control
• Fault diagnosis
• Knowledge of open loop, closed loop and three-term controls (pressure, temperature and speed)
• an understanding of load cells and weighing principles.
• High Voltage equipment is desirable, but training will be provided.
