We are currently recruiting on behalf of an award-winning Insurance company. Due to significant growth. We are looking for an experienced, German Customer Service Representative who has ideally worked specifically within insurance or at least within a customer Service role. Our client has customers all over the world, and this role would be supporting the German team, German speaking candidates can really use their skills.

As a German Speaking Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for managing and processing insurance claims with the utmost professionalism and efficiency. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all German clients during their time of need, guiding them through the claims process and ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming insurance claims inquiries via phone, email, and online channels with empathy and understanding.
  • Gather accurate information from clients regarding their claims and enter data into our systems with precision.
  • Assess the validity of claims and determine coverage based on policy terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as underwriting and claims adjustment to expedite claim resolution.
  • Maintain detailed records of all interactions and transactions related to claims processing.
  • Provide timely updates to clients on the status of their claims and address any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures while adhering to regulatory guidelines governing insurance claims.

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in customer service or claims handling within the insurance industry preferred.
  • Excellent German communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on empathy and active listening.
  • Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on finding solutions that meet the needs of clients.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional German customer service at all times.
