Why This Role Matters:
As a KS2 TA, you’ll be supporting pupils at such a pivotal stage of their education, ages 7–11. You’ll be the person who helps a child grasp a tricky maths concept, sparks excitement in reading, or gives the encouragement that makes them believe in themselves. You won’t just be helping with lessons—you’ll be shaping futures.

What We’re Looking For:

A calm, consistent, and proactive approach to supporting learning

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team or independently

Confidence in helping with English, maths, and topic-based lessons

Enhanced Child-Only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

Previous experience in schools, nurseries, or youth-focused settings is welcomed but not essential—your commitment and positivity mean the most

Your Role Will Include:

Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and daily classroom routines

Running small group sessions in maths, reading, and other core subjects

Providing targeted support to pupils who need an extra boost in confidence

Encouraging learning through play, discussion, and creative resources

Building strong, positive relationships with pupils, families, and staff

Flexible options for both part-time and full-time availability
