Job Description:
They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Director or Experienced Commercial Manager looking to step upto join our team. As a key member of our senior management, you will play a crucial role in driving the commercial success of our business. The ideal candidate will come from a brickwork background with a deep understanding of the industry dynamics, market trends, and project lifecycles.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Oversee the tendering process, ensuring competitive bids and timely submissions.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, costs, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including operations, finance, and HR, to achieve company objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in a commercial leadership role within the brickwork/masonry industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, pricing models, and project management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex data and make sound business decisions.
  • Results-driven with a passion for driving business growth and exceeding targets.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
