As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support our Quantity Surveying team in managing the costs and budget of residential construction projects. The successful candidate will assist in estimating, cost planning, and procurement, and subcontractor payment activities to ensure projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standards of quality
Key duties will be -
- Management of all variations & cost packages
- Assist in the procurement process, including obtaining quotes, negotiating prices, and preparing tender documents.
- Assist in the preparation and evaluation of contracts, including CVR's
- Sub-contractor procurement, cost analysis & forecasting.
You will be reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and will be able to work from the office with site visits.
My client are looking to pay a competitive basic salary including car allowance, travel and pension with the position looking to start ASAP but the client is happy to wait if the candidate has a notice period.
